Half Price Books, a bookstore chain I really enjoy, is doing a nice job of using in-store ads for their customers to easily see how to further engage with the store. This is very simple, yet with the visuals and the wording, these are likely very effective.

The casual observer may not have actually bothered to read this in-store sign at the local Whole Foods. I mean, it is after all, overly wordy. But, it looks to be of a hand-written quality and as such is very eye catching. Then comes the Homer Simpson “d’oh!” moment. What they did to the word “nutritional”, well, there ought to be a penalty for that….it’s not even close!
