I saw this framed poster at a bar recently and it caught my eye for many reasons.¬†Samuel Adams’ Boston Lager has become one of my favorite beers, so that might have helped this poster stand out to me.

What the brand is doing with its beer is intriguing and in my opinion, innovative.

By establishing a Bill of Rights, something which gives off a long-lasting vibe, this poster will hang in this bar, and many other bars, for a very long time. Too many beer ads are for specific years or occasions, such as the Super Bowl or football season in general.

The folks at Samuel Adams did a nice job with the tie-in here by using a Bill of Rights for a beer which is named after one of the nation’s founders. The fact that Samuel Adams’ founder, Jim Koch, is also a signer of this new Bill of Rights is also appropriate, and an interesting touch.
